    Hi Shafeeq,

When I started working with Umbraco CMS, I looked at these free video tutorials. They will go through the basics stuff about how to build websites using Umbraco and how the backoffice of Umbraco works,

    http://umbraco.com/help-and-support/video-tutorials/introduction-to-umbraco.aspx

If you choose to see the XSLT part of the link above, You must keep in mind that they show the old xslt syntax for the old XML schema. The new XML schema introduced in Umbraco 4.5. In the link below you can see the differences between the new and the old schema.

http://our.umbraco.org/wiki/reference/xslt/45-xml-schema or http://our.umbraco.org/wiki/reference/xslt/45-xml-schema/xslt-examples-updated-to-new-schema. There are also some videos about the 4.5 XML Schema, but it will require full access to the Umbraco TV.

Another option could be Umbraco wiki that you can definitely find a lot of small examples.

If you choose to get data from Umbraco by using Razor I think that these resources could be useful. The Razor part was introduced in 4.6, but become available from version 4.7 if I remember correctly.

Otherwise I am sure that you also should feel free to ask a questions in here.

I hope these links can help you to get a good start to work with Umbraco.

    /Dennis
