Unfortunately not. I came to the decision that Umbraco just sufficiently resource heavy such that under higher than usual usage (perhaps a web crawler?) Azure's share instance's quota is exceed. For us it only happens about once a week, but that's still too often.
If this is the case then the only solution is to use reserved instances, which is fine as long as you have a few websites to justify the expense, or not use Azure.
With this website it's possible that the implementation isn't optimal (perhaps an an infinte loop somewhere), as it was created by a junior. It's a small website though and seems reasonably programmed on the surface.
It's more than a bit crap IMHO, but if you find an alternative solution/ fix then please do post here.
Memory quota issues with Azure shared website
I launched our new website (6.1.3) a few days ago in to an Azure shared website. It's not suspended because I've exceeded my memory quota.
The website anything fancy, so do you think this is most likely a memory leak or are shared websites just not up to the task?
Thanks,
David
We have the same issue.
Were you able to resolve it? We have Umbraco 7.1.1 running atm
Kind regards
Sander
