    Install, missing the database option step

    Hi, manual install of 7.1.4, and it sets itself up perfectly with a Sql Compact db. 

    But I want to connect it to Sql Server, but the install wizard does not give me that option. Any ideas how/why?

    Hi Seba

    In the first step you can click the customize link/button and next you have the option the choose another database type than SQL Compact, which is set to default. Click on the install button in first step give a quick install, which use SQL Compact and install the txt starterkit.

    You are not the first one, who had hard to "see" to button :)

    But it should have been fixed and more "visible" in v. 7.1.5: http://issues.umbraco.org/issue/U4-5040
