Problem connecting to SQL CE Database in VS2013 with Toolbox
HI,
I have been learning v7 mvc without too much problem so far,. The site was setup on Dev using an SQL CE 4.0 database. I am Just about to convert to a SQL Server DB so i can deploy to a live test server but cannot for the life of me get the datasource path to work.
I have latest version of VS2013 installed wiht the SQL Server Compact Toolbox (EerikEJ) Installed and registered.
The 'Umbraco.sdf' Database is located int the App_Data folder.
In the Add connection dialog, I am setting the Data Source field to... |DataDirectory|\Umbraco.sdf
It kicks back the error: The Database file cannot be found. Check the path to the database. [Data Source = C:\Program Files (x86)\Common7\IDE\Umbraco.sdf] so it is not resolving the right path.
if i try the exact path
\\psf\Home\Documents\Visual Studio 2013\Projects\Sitename\Sitename.Web\App_Data

I get a sharing violation error
I am running Parallels 10 on OSX 10.7.5
