    Umbraco on webhosts

    Hi!

Just wondering if there are any packages for webhost installation.
Read some information regarding full trust and medium trust but most isp use only medium trust.

And since most people dont want to pay for vps or ded servers i just wondered if you have any
separate packages for medium trust installations or perhaps some quick guide on how to install on shared hosting?

    Will check this out!

Btw saw posts regarding medium trust since 2006. Is there any plan to actually get umbraco fully compatible with medium trust?
Asking since im doing some smaller work for others and looking for a good cms. And most people i think backs off when it says experimental like the medium trust version you linked to.

If you can wait a couple of weeks, the forthcoming version of Umbraco (4.1) will include the medium trust updates as part of the stable, core project.  I don't think an official date has been announced but I grasp from Twitter/blogs etc that the core team are aiming for a release in April.

    That sounds fantastic!
Btw i read something about certain stuff not working on medium trust then in some cases ppl says they got it running ok. Are there any specific features that just dont work in medium trust environments?
