    Question about skinning

I know there is no definate answer for this but I'm just looking for some general input. About how long would you guess it would take a first time user to skin a site. I know absolutely nothing about umbraco but have devleoped in DotNetNuke for a while. I'm just curious as to any feedback. Also, any links to some videos about skinning and template design or examples css skins I could look at for reference would be awesome. Thanks,

Hello Michael! I would install Warren's CWS (Creative Website Starter) and play around with that in the start. You can find it under Developer > Packages > Umbraco package Repository > Starter Kits .
Play around some with this package and look how things are put together, this will help alot!

For your other question, I think you will take it pretty fast if you have worked with familiar stuff before.

    Hope this helps,
    Fredrik K

    oops.... cut off my reply.
but anyway, with all this talk of skinning, why not have a go at skinning the new blog4Umbraco package as an exercise and see how long it takes.... check out this post to get involved:
