Our Umbraco site search not showing in IE7

    Hi

In IE 7 the site search is just showing up as a big button... there is no option to actually type in what you want to search for. Ok In firefox and chrome.

    Thanks

    Geraldine

+1 on this, I noticed this at a training session for a client yesterday. Just an extra wide button, no actual search box.......

Yep, seeing this as well. It's because the "Search" button is positioned absolutely, which seems unnecessary..

    Use another browser guys! :D

I'm seing the wide button in IE7 as well, but luckily I'm not using IE as my prefered browser.........at all. Anyway this is a bug. But come on guys, use another browser anyway. IE isn't good enough to be a prefered browser to any web developer at all. And you know it ;)

Its not for me, its for my clients. They're a large corporate, where all the users are locked to a specific browser, which they can't change. They don't get a choice. They're just lucky they're not one of my other clienmts, who are still locked into using IE6!
