    error while creating node in custom tree

     

    i am getting the following error when trying to create node in custom tree

    ERROR CREATING CONTROL FOR NODETYPE: custom

    Hi,

    I think you didn´t update the umbraco\config\create\UI.xml file. Checkout the article from Tim. Use the example he wrote and change the Assembly + type names with the ones you are using.

    thanks richard.,

    i do followed it..

    i have updated that..

    instead of using          <usercontrol>/create/simple.ascx</usercontrol>,

    i tried to create my own usercontrol and trying to insert values into db..

    any pointers?
