A few suggestions about spam and more

How about allowing users to flag forum entries as spam. Also - allow all users to suggest moving topics to other forum.

Allowing users to flag forum entries as spam does seem to be necessary...I've noticed quite a few spam posts here today!

It would certainly be nice with at spam-function. I don't want to buy/sell any UGG boots or the likes. :-/

Hi rob, the forum is pretty active with admin users... generally if a post is deemed to be spam, someone tends to tweeting about it and an admin user will nuke it.

Not the most ideal solution, I know, (too much reliance on Twitter), but yet seems to work remarkably well.

    Thanks, Lee.

helps if I tell you where I found the spam, http://our.umbraco.org/forum/developers/api-questions/11210-Creating-a-document-type-property-programatically (last post)

Ok, so can you create a sticky about twitter and the format you want people to use to flag spam, just #umbraco or #ourumbraco @someadmin

    thanks.

Thanks Rob, much appreciated. I've removed those spam posts.

I'll ask the HQ guys about the best place to put a message - as there isn't any stickies functionality on this forum.

    Cheers, Lee.
