    Error on installing Umbraco Forms

I am new to Umbraco website development, I am just using administration site only, no Visual Studio code.

I am facing challenge while installing Umbraco Forms 6.X cause I am building site on 7.6.3 version, its asking to connect to 23.100.15.180:80 while I refresh page after unsuccessful installation.

I am installing it on a server where I don't have internet, but why we need it on first place, as per my understanding package should be complete enough for deployment.

Please help as I need to create contact form with a resume up-loader & send email to my email id.

Error while installing Umbraco forms 6.X

    Hi,

I think that issue is that UmbracoForms try to verify and create license key. Just upload your license key to bin folder

Thank you very much, but I am new to umbraco, where I can find that license.

    Hi Sumeet!

You need to buy a license key from Umbraco so if you go to the following address you can buy your license. https://umbraco.com/products/umbraco-forms/

You also need to log in to umbraco.com in order to configure your license to the right domain.

To run in trial mode you can upload umbracoForms.lic from your computer (bin folder) to bin folder on your server

Thanks a lot I got this idea of buying license, I just need to create only one contact form, I am sure my management will dislike any kind of purchase.

Is there any option to create just one contact form using administration panel from website itself, as I am not using visual studio even for development?

As I am searching around on Google I could only find MVC code which need to create class & need to compile code.

It would be great help if someone provide right content for me to create this form.

Formulate looks fine to me, I hope it must be customizable, so I can add a file uploader into that contact form.

Thanks Yakov, Formulate worked, but still not receiving email on submit button, need to check any issue with email exchange.

Moreover I am looking for reCaptcha to enable on form, it seems not working but I will close this.

    Thanks others for help.

    Hi Sumeet,

I can assist you with any Formulate-related questions in the Formulate forum, which I see you've already found: https://our.umbraco.org/projects/backoffice-extensions/formulate/formulate-questions/91096-captcha-not-working-formulate

BTW, I'm partial to Formulate (having built it), but this page lists some alternatives (on top of what Yakov already listed): https://github.com/leekelleher/awesome-umbraco#form-builders
