New template and document but don't see it in my content

    Hi

I have created a new template and document for use in a content, but when I try to create the content i can't see my new template under the tab Properties.

Can anyone help me with that?

On your documenttype you have to allow the template. When you open the documenttype it is on the first tab.

    Hi Bas

I have now looked at my Document type. I have allowed the right template and used the right template as Default template.

My Content tree looks like this*:

    Products
     Brakes(1)
      Failsafe Brakes
       BSFI 100
       BSFI 200

It's in the BSFI 100 content I need the template "BSFI(1)", but I can't see that.

Maybe you have to resave your page. That could be a solution

    Hi Bas

I have solved my problem now.

For the content Brakes(1) and Failsafe Brakes I should use a documenttype named "product page" but for the BSFI 100 and so on I had to use a documenttype called "BSFI(1)". My failure was, that I had not allowed the "produc page" documenttype to have the "BSFI(1)" documenttype as child node. When I allowed that my problem was gone...It worked. :-)

    Thank for your help anyway.

    Anita
