    Referencing a master page outside of umbraco

    Hi

    I am currently building templates but my one of my templates has to reference a Master page which outside of umbraco

    How is it possible to reference a masterpage ? I have tried to add the direct path to the external master page but Umbraco keeps overwriting it to the default value

    Just tried it on a local install, and the database gets updated with the new master page, so it could be a non issue (apart from the fact that the name in the editor reverts to default of course)

    Have you tried using the new master page and see the result of a particular page that uses your new master page?

    Hi Dirk

    Figured it out, as umbraco wll be  included in the main application it will be able to reference the masterpage
