Site down because of a small change in a template.

    Hi,

I did a small change in a template of a site which was working well.

After saving the change, the site runs a http:// 404 NOT FOUND error.

Is there any option to undo my change in Umbraco?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

A template change should not cause a 404 error? Even if you deleted it.

Are you sure nothing else was changed?

    Hi Rich,

    Yes, i only changed this:
» Terug naar top

    to this:
» Top

    and saved it.

After saving, it generated a 404 not found error....

A 404 error in the admin system or the front end website?

On all pages or just one in particular?

    Sounds very odd

On all the underlying pages of the homepage, the error occurs

The changes are made in the FreeTextPage.Master - file

    Hi Nelson,

Are you sure the only cange you made is in the template? A change on the template cannot at all cause a 404 error. This is very odd.
