I recently
changed the name of a few document types in order to make them easier to
understand for the developer that i will be passing the system over too. I also
did this with a few of the templates. I didn’t change the Alias.
Now when I
change any details in a document type I get a server error about a null point
exception. I have tried changing the node names back to what they where but the
error persists. Is there anyway of solving this issue?
I ‘am relatively
new to umbraco and any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Follow up to this - the problem seems to have fixed itself 24 hours after it happened. Could this be a cache issue? If so could anyone tell me how to manually delete umbraco cached document types. Thanks.
