I have used the Upload data type to hold an image in a property then simple adding the item to the template. However, the image I upload was a transparent GIF - it is not showing transparent , is this a problem with the way I am doing this ?
The file is copied to the right location as it is:
PostedFile.SaveAs(_fullFilePath);
So it shouldn't be an issue of the upload.
Did you upload the gif via ftp and how does it behaves then?
Thomas
It uploads fine and can be seen on the website, it has a url something like \media\34\name.gif .. however, its lost its transparency.
Sorted , it was a problem with the GIF... doh. Artweaver doesnt seem to save the transparency correctly -I used GIMP and it was fine.
is working on a reply...
