    document types exporting to new site

    I'm trying to export a new document type to new site (unfortunately not hosted by us), so I don't have the luxury of using courier.

    Is there a simple database script any has that can do this or am I best off exporting the document type and using the CMS to import it?

    Hi Ravi

    Can't you just right click the desired document type and choose "export"?

    I can , but the third party company who do the hosting an dinstallation won't do "anything with umbraco". they limit themselves to just file uploads and database scripts..

    I am most likely going to export the Documnet type and the push it via import to their staging sites amd  they can then push the templates and other file changes separately..
