    Status on keeping master document types for packages

    When creating new sites (with a new Umbraco installation) I just import a package with default stuff such as doc types, datetypes, macros and so on. But the master document settings are lost when doing this and this is a bit frustrating as this structure simplifies creating new specific document types.

    Are there plans for a change regarding this or any work-arounds?

    We're looking at fixing this for 4.1 coming by the end of this year.

    Good news as I would like to do this with CWS as there is some META stuff that is repeated over and over.
