File Upload not working for a member type

    Hi all,

I have created 2 members types, directors and staff, and would like there to be a picture for the members in those types. I have added a fileUpload property but when I go to add or edit a staff member and select a photo to upload the dialog box appears and I can select the image, but nothing happens when I click the save button.

    This is on 4.03.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

You could check the UmbracoLog table in the database. Also check to make sure permissions are set correctly. i.e Network Service has full rights to data/media/config etc folders.

Nothing appears to be logged in the umbracoLog table. I've tried the same operation this morning and refreshed the log, but there's no entry or error...

Is this the blank password validation problem?  Basically once you have created the member, you click on the save button and nothing happens - If so its because the password field is playing up.  Expand the password fields, click save and you'll see what I mean :)

Lee you were bang on - cheers.

Should this be raised as a bug?

I think they are aware of it, and hopefully it'll be fixed in 4.1
