I created a simple package (v7) that only contains a property editor/data type. After installing it (on a different site), I had to touch the web.config/clear cache for it to show up on the content node. Is there a way around this? Thanks.
This is something that the HQ is working on.
Right now the cache doesn't get rebuild after package installation and some other tasks.
So you have to clear the cache manually right now
