Setting property editor pre-values when using it as macro parameter type

I have a question regarding the macro parameters. After following the tutorial posted by Tim on http://www.nibble.be/?p=349, I learned that a custom property editor can be used as a macro param editor.
Is there a way in which to set the pre-values of the property editor at macro params level? Or is there a way to use the data types as macro parametery types?
