Tiny MCE can't insert 2 images in a row

Is anyone having issues with Umbraco 7.1.3 where you can't insert 2 images in a row via the WYSIWYG editor? The media picker just hangs...

Possisbly related to this, if you scale the image in the RTE it adds a querystring which returns a 404 for the image. Is there a fix for this?
