I just created a user account on my umbraco website.
Username: Jimbo
Email: [email protected]
I then go to make changes to the user and create them a password and get told error: check log.
I havent done anything fundemantal with Umbraco, just created content/ doc templates and all the basic stuff.
What might this be?
I have just created a new project on my pc and gone to create a user and im having the same problems. On a fresh project.

Did you check the log? (~/App_Data/Logs/UmbracoTraceLog.txt)
Most likely you forgot to give the new user permissions to access any of the sections.

Yes it was exactly that, i hadnt set their section permissions yet.
