    session timeouts on UNOEURO hosting

We just moved a couple of sites to unoeuro hosting and experience a lot of random session timeouts.

UnoEURO support tells me to use sql to persist sessions.

http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms178586%28v=vs.100%29.aspx tells me there are 4 modes. The sql option seems out of the question.

Never done this before. Any recommendations (before I dig a custom hole)?

    Hi Jesper

Which mode is it set to currently in your installations? I don't recall ever have used other than "inproc" in the web.config?

    Hi Jan,

Its the default "inproc" - I've never fiddled with it in any installation before.

I guess the reason is webfarm or some other proxy fronting everyting at unoeuro. But I've not seen it before.

    Hi Jesper

Me neither - I have never changed it. Usually it just works out of the box? Perhaps you should get in touch with them again?

UNOEURO just reported that there's no farm nor any proxy or anything special - but apppool can restart anytime.

I dont know if thats the reason for the session loss.
