This is all done in v7.2.0 already, I would recommend trying that instead.. ;-)

Nope! I haven't checked the search, might need to search in extra fields, no idea how that works.

I did mention at start of this project use 7.2 but it was too bleeding edge lol, i will suggest again becuase we need this feature.

Also, it would be quite nice to have it sort on a custom field, but I guess that's one for the issue tracker :P

I too would love to be able to search custom fields in list view. Any news on when this feature may be available. There are loads of posts other than this one requesting it.
