Seems that in 7.2 you can't sort the list view by a date field property (except for the built in date fields like CreateDate and Updated)... Any quick fix for this?

Will be difficult if you're building a calendar application and your users can't sort the list view by the event date.
Hate to bump this but I think it's an issue worth addressing...

Sort By Date Field in List View
