    Dictionary and Media Types In Umbraco 7.1.4

    Hi All,

    We are new to Umbraco and tried to get knowledge about it, while browsing features of Umbraco we had a look at "Media Types" and "Dictionary" under "Settings" section.

    Can any one please explain what's the purpose of these two i.e. "Media Types" and "Dictionary" under "Settings" section?

    Hi Tarunjit,

    Dictionary is tab for multilingual sites. You can use it like resources in asp.net.

    Media types is something like Document Types but for media items.
