Check if Content Exists

Hi,

I need help with the following: I am developing a class library that gets an RSS and automatically SaveAndPublish documents using the ContentService. The class library works perfect but i need to check if the content already exists in order to eliminate the content duplications. Can anyone help me please on how to check if a content exists, probably with the name before adding the new content to the database?
