    Google Chrome - Backoffice

    Hi,

We are having trouble with drop down lists with Google Chrome when editing in the backoffice.

It seems we cannot change the value in the drop down list, but we go to another browser and you can change.

Anybody else experiencing problems with Chrome?

    Regards, L

    Hi Luke,

Yes, there is a known issue with a particular version of Chrome and it's Angular compatibility. What version of Umbraco are you using? There was a fix for it released with the 7.3.4 update that came out about a week ago.

If you can't upgrade then you can select the desired value using the arrow keys on your keyboard. Tedious but works.

Not sure if that the last comment was necessary.

Thank you to the rest of people who gave some good advice and help if unable to update.

I think it was, searching for something before posting a question is a really good practice :-)

We had actually searched for it. Maybe we entered the wrong search terms. And for that I am sorry.

I answer questions to other peoples questions even if it has been asked before, and I try to give my version of the answer.

I would just say in the spirit of this community, that it may not be best to say such a thing. Soren's answer has really helped as this is an option to us in websites that cannot be upgraded at this point.

    Hey Luke,

I had the same issue... the latest Chrome update (v47.0.2526.106) has fixed it for me. (I didn't need to upgrade Umbraco/Angular).

    Cheers,
    - Lee

    Hi Lee,

Yes, that seems to have done the trick. Many thanks.
