Hi i have been installing umbraco 8 and trying to merge it with .net but i have had an issue that i have been unable to fix or find solutions to online.
I have rebuilt the solution twice and keep getting stuck at this step.
I was unable to solve this issue and am unable to determine why it happened but i by passed it by deleting the project and rebuilding it.
I will admit that three attempts before the error no longer occurred.
This is most likely due to a mistake that i had made during setup.
This could still become an issue for a future developer.

I had the same problem but solved it. I have updated Umbraco.ModelsBuilder.Api.dll to the latest version.
