Thanks for the interesting article on the code for a piece of functionality of Umbraco 8 but I don't see how it clarifies the question.

The article is helpful, I wish I had found that 4 days ago! The use of the word "migrations" threw me off course, it makes it sound like a setup for an upgrade path rather than a way to create a new table.
