We have several Umbraco 7 sites which want to migrate to Umbraco 8 but can't do so without knowing the alternative to Umbraco Courier, now called Umbraco Deploy, is ready for on-premise scenarios.
Does anyone know what the state of this product is? I have not seen any updates for over a year other than it works on Umbraco Cloud, which is not our scenario. Also, There doesn't seem to be a page where to track the development of this component.

Umbraco has recently updated their product roadmap page to show the progress of a number of things
https://umbraco.com/products/roadmap/
Deploy is on there as 'Next' - which doesn't give it a date yet, but i assume progress will be updated here.

It seems for the looks of the "Now" items (Q4 2019) that Deploy will not be around for at least another year. That's such a shame!
