    Before the plunge.... (umbraco vnext)

Hi, it's been a while i'm evaluating CMS options for my web sites needs. I'm about to make the plunge and go for c#/asp.net/Umbraco as it seems a very powerfull solution.

Fact is a whole new asp.net is around the corner. How will umbraco handle the update of umbraco to the new version of asp.net stack ? I'm unfamiliar about how you do it, but will the update to umbraco vnext asp.net breaks lots of things ? I would not like just finishing my work on a new web site, just to realize I must redo most of my work for the new version of vnext umbraco (in which case I would wait). Please advise on your strategy. Thanks, Benj

We're not currently actively working on a version for ASP.NET vNext, this is still a few years away so no need to wait for that now.

Good to know, no need to wait then.
