    Error in Contour while installing

    Hi,

    I am installing contour for the contact us. it gives an error as 

    web.config could not be updated + 
    System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at Umbraco.Forms.UI.Usercontrols.Installer.Page_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) in d:\TeamCity\buildAgent\work\e4473b9ec9597356\Umbraco.Forms.UI\Usercontrols\Installer.ascx.cs:line 181

     

    Please Help me out

    Sounds like a permissions issue.

    The user that your app is running as doesn't have permissions to modify web.config.

    Hi Prasas,

    It should still work (not a critical error), can you go to the contour section and see if you can create a form?

    Hi Darren,

    I gives the permission to modify the web,config but then also it will gives an error....

    Are you using chrome ? there is a know issue that chrome will fail when trying to add a macro to the rte (fixed in the coming release)
