Can't insert form in RTE in Chrome 10 and IE9

Chrome 10 crashes when inserting a contour form in RTE, as can be seen on this screencast: http://www.screenr.com/yPQ

IE9 ignores pressing the OK button. If changing IE9 to use IE7 mode everything works as expected.

Probably a javascript related tinyMCE bug. But important none the less

    Regards
    Jesper Hauge

What version of umbraco are you using?

The Chrome crash when inserting a macro into the RTE was a bug in a previous release, can you let me know what umbraco version you are using?

IT's a umbraco bug think you'll have the same with each macro you try to insert into the RTE not a Contour one.

    Cheers,
    Tim

    Sorry it's 4.5.2.

Didn't check with other macros. (Never use those in RTE's)

    Cheers,
    Jesper

IF you don't want to do an entire upgrade you can just patch your current install

It just needs a small change on the /umbraco/dialogs/insertmacro.aspx

Tim, I just did a file comparison on the insertmacro.aspx from an 4.5.2 solution and an 4.7 solution, the files seems to be identical.

    Am I missing something here?

    Oops that's because it's /umbraco/plugins/tinymce3/insertMacro.aspx
