    Contour install error

    Hi, I've just installed Contour as a package on v4.7 and got the following error. Can anyone tell me how to fix this please?

    • Datatype could not be installed + 
      System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at Umbraco.Forms.UI.Usercontrols.Installer.Page_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e)

    Hi,

    It seems that only the datatype installation failed, you should be able to create forms...

    And you can create the datatype manually, simply create a new datatype and select form picker as the render control.

    Hi Tim,

    Thanks for your reply. I've created the datatype manually as suggested.

    Under the 'Contour' section I then created a simple contact form, however after adding a set of fields and saving the form I get a 'Failed to save form' error popup:

    Where should I be looking to find the cause of this?

    Update:

    I don't know what has changed but today, forms are saving perfectly everytime, so problem the has gone away!
