we're looking to use contour for a competition entry form. The problem is we need to have quite a bit of custom validation like one entry per email address.. validate a barcode number and other things on the server side..
Is there any provision for extending contour's validation or adding something in a workflow for a custom validation step on the server side?

That sounds possible, you'll have to write some of your own stuff though. Check out the Contour Contrib project (would love more contributions) and the Contour Shared Source.
How did you solve it ultimately? Hope you can share your solution.
