    Downloading File Attachment from Entries List

    A client has an upload field for people to complete job applications and attach a CV however the attachment is not added to the email and the entries report offers no link to download, just an unfriendly path to the file. 

    Is it possible to alter Contour to achieve this or is it something that has to be submitted as a feature request for future versions?

    Hey Simon,

    In one of the recent releases the entries viewer has been updated to provide a clickable link when it's a file

    Thanks Tim I will upgrade them again and see if it resolves the issue for them. Am I correct in assuming that notifications intentionally do not attach the uploads?

    Yeah the default ones don't but I think contour contrib has a type that will inlcude them as attachments

    Contour contrib has such a setting...but would be nice if it worked out of the box in Contour - any specific reason why it does not? :)

    Hi Tim

    It would be awesome if it workd out of the box indeed - seems like there are som issues with some of the input types, specifically captchas that the contrib project adds to v3.0.12 of Contour.

    Also not all of the additions in Contrib makes sense to regular editors that just needs to create a form - they suddenly have too many options at hand. Therefore it would be nice to be able to avoid it in my humble opinion.
