    Contour Delete/Edit Permissions

    Hi

    I've been playing with the Contour permissions with a test user.  When I set the user to have "ReadOnlyViewAndExportEntries" or "ReadOnlyViewEntries," the user is still able to delete and edit entries?

    I'm running Contour 3.0.12 on Umbraco 6.0.5.  Any thoughts on this why this is possible?

    Yeah there is no restrictions on the edit/delete record options, once you have access to the records viewer you are able to use those functions

    Thanks.  I take it there's no way to recover these records.  One, since there is a warning box to confirm delete and two, I could not find the records in the actual SQL database.

    Yeah delete means gone so only way to recover would be with a db backup
