I would like to update an email signup form I have which is currently implemented with AJAX to a web service, to use Contour. I've read some posts on doing this (http://our.umbraco.org/forum/umbraco-pro/contour/39209-Contour-Ajax-Post) but was wondering if I could simply do a POST to the form from JavaScript without having to customize the Form or use cutiv-restcontour project which is not being updated.
Has anyone tried this? I haven't used Contour much yet, so I was wondering if someone could weigh in on this approach.
