No provider with id '04067c46-ca1a-11de-8958-2c4456d89593' found

    Umbraco 4.0.3 Contour 1.1.4

I have been trying to add a custom field type to Umbraco contour. I tried to install the Contour Contrib package but that didn't work as it through an error complaining about the version of .NET it was built in.

I then tried to create a DLL with just the Field Type (label) that I wanted in. When I added this DLL the site started throwing this error whenever I tried to access the Contour section in the back end:

No provider with id '04067c46-ca1a-11de-8958-2c4456d89593' found

Anyone know why this is? Can't find much about it on here or google...

(Yes I know Umbraco / Contour versions I'm using are quite outdated and, no, updating them isn't an option!)

I recently attempted to upgrade umbraco from 6.1.6 to 7.3.4. There are many problems that I need to iron out, one of which is Contour. After attempting to do the latest upgrade to v3, I get the exact same error you mention, with the exact same provider id. I have not yet been able to figure out what it is.

I contour, I had created two custom fields. I am thinking it may have something to do with that. If anyone else has any ideas, please chime in.
