Upgrade Contour in the safest possible way

    Hi,

As the admins will know, I'm having a few issues with licensing of contour on a couple of domains.  The potential solution involves me upgrading to the latest version of Contour.

Question is, how do I do this in the safest possible way to ensure that the current forms/data etc are kept intact and embedded without any errors?  I'm just a little paranoid about something going wrong when I'm so close to launching my first large(ish) Umbraco site.

I will of course back everything up before doing anything, but I'd rather not have to use the back-ups ;)

    Thanks

    Hi Dan,

Upgrading to a newer version is just a mather of replacing the old version files with the latest version ones.

All your forms and form data is stored in the database, the upgrade won't touch that.

    Regards,
    Tim
