    Disable auto update check in Forms

    Hey guys!

    Just wanted to know if there's a way to disable the auto update check/button in the Forms section? We have done modifications in the cshtml-files and they are overwritten every time someone does an update by clicking.

    I know Umbraco has the key "umbracoVersionCheckPeriod" in web.config to disable THAT update check. It would be neat to have the same functionality in Forms.

    Thanks!

    Hey Oscar,

    You could remove it from the dashboard by updating the /config/dashboard.config

    Cheers,
    Tim

    Hey Tim!

    Thanks for the tip! Does the update-functionality have its own control, or is it included in the licensing control? Can't find anything specific for updates in dashboard.config. The only ones I have under the Forms section is;

    • licensing.html
    • yourforms.html
    • activity.html

    This topic is slightly old, but I still need an answer.

    We have a client with Contour installed, and they clicked on the update button. What was installed was not compatible to the version of Umbraco they are using, and so I had to perform a restore of the site to get forms working again.

    Is there a way to disable this notice?
