I've spotted what appears to be a bug in the form editor. If I set up a dropdown data type and then go in to edit the values, after I edit a value, it's text becomes "click to edit" regardless of what I enetered, and on the front end, the field is just blank. I've tested this in IE and Firefox, and the error is the same. To reproduce:
1) Create a form field of type Dropdown List.
2) Add some values to the dropdown list
3) Save the form (note: prior to this, the field editing works correctly as expected)
4) Click "edit items" and change one or more values on the list
5) CLick the "Update" button, then select "edit items", the text has been replaced

Thanks for reporting this, I've added the issue to our bug tracker. It should be solved with the next maintenance release.
