Is Backend Development worth these days?

    Hello Everyone

I am sorry if this is not the correct place to ask this question. I am starting my career in the field of development, but the thing that is disturbing me is if backend development has any scope in future to pursue or not? I do not have any proper guidance to that nor I know what are the qualities a backend developer should pursue. Anyone having any idea, please help with the same.

    Thankyou

    Hi

Backend development demand is growing, so learn it :) Good developer can be backend and frontend - easy to switch and use another language.

There is no wrong language(apart from PHP probably) until the whole market is growing.

    Thanks,

    Alex

Backend development isn't going anywhere, there will always be a need for code that runs on the server, outside of the user's control.

Umbraco's language of choice, C#, is a great language to use for back-end development.

Backend Developer is like being a mathematician. You always have to come up with logical functions and bugs to debug them. You have to be sure that you're using the right data, features, and loops. Otherwise, your code will be slow, and it's like if you were using integrals for an area of a right triangle even when you can use a simple formula. Even Umbraco also has team of developers and they have really experienced people who have been working dedicatedly Here are some skills that you should have being a backend developer-

-You should know various Development Languages, namely Java, Python, Ruby.

-You should have the experience of handling server issues and should be able to handle server-side development.

-You should know how to handle and manage the database and cache.

My point is that the scope of backend development and its skills is useful if you have an interest in the field. You need to analyze your interests and work on the same for choosing the right career thing for you.
