    Umbraco 8 Language Variants and user group permission control

    Hi there

    In a multilingual site using Language Variants, is it possible to set Editor group permissions by language/variant?

    Usecase: in a site with English and Chinese content, and with “English Content editors” and “Chinese Content editors” user groups, the various users can only author content in their respective language/variant.

    Hi Andrew, I need the same functionality. From what I found in my research, there is a request for such functionality, which is planned to start developing soon. See here: https://github.com/umbraco/Umbraco-CMS/issues/3830
