Seek for , how to merge(website code and content) from one site to other site using uSync4.0 and umbraco7.0

We have performed below steps, 1. Created asp.net empty web application with .net f/w 4.7.2 2. Installed UmbracoCms 7.14 package in it. It internally installs UmbracoCms.NetCore 7.14. 3. Now installed uSync 4.0.15 as uSync 8.X.X throwing exception about dependencies. 4. Created two copes of above project called Dev and Prod and same is configured it in IIS10.0 server.

Now we have to find out how to merge(website code and content) one site to other site.

    Please assist.

    Hi,

What did you mean by merging the site and content? If you need to move doctypes between dev and prod - just copy uSync folder. uSync is for moving data between environments.

    Thanks, Alex

    Thank you.

As per your input, if we do any changes in content (images, text, movies...lab...lab...etc) of the web site (say Dev environment) and then I copy only uSync folder to other environment (say Prod). It will move all the content changes to Prod environment.

Nothing needs to be changed other than this?

Please give me the video link or step by step guideline document for the same.

    Thank you.

For moving the content you need "uSync.ContentEdition" - https://our.umbraco.com/packages/developer-tools/usynccontentedition/

This is the documentation - https://usync.readthedocs.io/contentedition/
