    Umbraco update stuck at install screen

    I'm in the process of updating my Umbraco installation from 8.3.1 to 8.6.1, but I get stuck at the /install screen after updating the database:

    Notice the versions here are both 8.6.1 - so the update should have been successful. No matter where I try to navigate to, the installation redirects me to /install

    This also happens on another installation with version 8.1.6 => 8.6.1
