I am considering upgrading from Umbraco V7 to V8 .
On V7 I use o TechDevils.UrlTaskScheduler to schedule tasks.
It does not appear to support V8 and I could not find an alternative package.
Any suggestions ?

Look into https://www.hangfire.io/ , there are also a couple of posts around on how to set this up in combo with umbraco

Actually, ...... I also just discovered that In Umbraco 8+ it is possible to run recurring code using the BackgroundTaskRunner. See https://our.umbraco.com/documentation/reference/Scheduling/
