I installed the plugin on my local site and it is work correctly. Then I deployed this functionality on staging server where I got a problem with adding a new menu items/elements. If I add a new menu (MegaNav8 type) in the same document type, then I can add a new elements of menu. In the both cases the maximum number of levels in the navigation is 2. This is the error I was talking about:
