    Help

I'm a very basic user of Umbraco. I add/delete docs to our webpages, have no programming knowledge. I need to know if I can have a section within my webpages that I can only allow certain staff to access. Any help gratefully received.

do you want to restrict access for back office users or front end visitors?

There are several ways of limiting access to both, so perhaps if you could explain a little more as to what you want to achieve.

I need to create a folder/section within an existing web page BUT only certain staff can access this (front end).

protecting a section within a page would require code adding to the pages template, but you can assign specific permissions to a web page using the actions/public access option

I have no idea what you mean by the actions/public access option. Can you explain please.
